We extend a big Mahalo to Masu Kusume Dyer for her 25+ years of service with Kahiau - A Tennis Foundation.

Masu helped to develop the USTA Hawaii Pacific Section's foundation when the organization was operating as the Hawaii Tennis Patrons. As a volunteer board member she was dedicated to fundraising and helped to provide scholarships for junior players to attend trainings and tournaments on the mainland. She kept Kahiau involved in supporting School Tennis, Tennis In The Park and Wheelchair Tennis. And she was also instrumental in developing the Hawaii Tennis Hall of Fame Awards.

Masu retired this month from her many rewarding and productive years as Kahiau President. Her devotion and passion made Kahiau a viable resource for hundreds of youngsters in Hawaii. She leaves it strong and promising to a great group of new volunteers, led by Mike Purpura. She will still be involved as an USTA Hawaii Section Community Tennis committee member and an USTA National Wheelchair Tennis Committee member.

Thank You Masu for your extraordinary service as Kahiau President!
